Liebster Incoming :D
Yuhun…! Here I’m with a Liebster award nomination. Yes, you read it right! I’m not totally retarded, I actually do some stuffs. :P
So, how did it happen? Is
it the question in your mind? Still, read it :D
One fine day I logged
into my Facebook account and found myself tagged to one of the posts by Sreesha Divakaran. She is a new found blogger-cum-friend who is also a brilliant
astrologer. Astrologer because she came to know that I was craving for 1 damn nomination
for the Liebster award. Ain’t greedy, everybody loves fame! :’)
Check out her world which
is full of music, monsoon and fun (Sorry Sreesha, couldn’t come up with a better
line :P ) here: Petrichor and Clouds J
Pardon me, almost forgot
that most people aren’t aware about the Liebster award. So, for them, here is
the answer:
The Liebster
Award is given to up and coming bloggers who have less than 200 followers.
So, what is a Liebster? The meaning: Liebster is German and means
sweetest, kindest, nicest, dearest, beloved, lovely, kind, pleasant, valued,
cute, endearing, and welcome. Isn't that sweet? Blogging is about building a
community and it's a great way to connect with other bloggers and help spread
the word about newer bloggers/blogs.
And
these are the rules to be followed:
·
Each
nominee must thank and link back the person who nominated them.
·
Answer
the 10 questions given to you by the nominator.
·
Nominate
10 other bloggers for this award who have less than 200 followers.
·
Create
10 questions for your nominees to answer.
·
Let
the nominees know that they have been nominated by going to their blog and
notifying them.
It's
completely optional to accept the award. If you want you accept it, answer the
questions and nominate others. The question/answer
phase is one of the most exciting parts about these awards. J
Below are the answers to Sreesha’s questions:
1. List 10 facts about yourself!
Laholbilakubat!
10 facts about myself, this will definitely include some very lame answers. Anyway,

slum-kids on a weekly basis. Feels good J
iii.
I’m single i.e with no siblings. It answers the
relationship status as well. :D
iv.
I’m a dancer and singer as well J
v.
Considering the fact that am an Engineering student, so
being hungry is natural. :P
vi.
I’m committed to Internet truly, madly and deeply. :P
vii.
I’m not always sarcastic. I sleep plus attend the viva
rounds as well :D
viii.
I love Blogging. See the consequence of it; we are
finally in touch. Hurray :D

2. If you had to choose only one out
of the following, which one would you choose

10.

This is a difficult question as I find
both of them the same. No liberty. But, then considering some points, will vote
for the college. J
It’s question time. These are the questions for
the nominees:

24 YEARS ON 22 YARDS- A Tribute to the legend, SIR SACHIN RAMESH TENDULKAR
The
person I’m referring here, needs no formal introductions. You might not be
aware who your neighbor is but you certainly know this legend, Sir Sachin
Ramesh Tendulkar. And indeed, this article is a tribute to his 24 years of
service to the nation.
Well,
the words might just not be enough to show gratitude, shower respect and praise
his achievements. Thus, have collected his blissful moments, never ending
records and some unforgettable memories
which you can see below:
Memories :') |
Magical Career |
The Last Day |
Here
is a video of his FINAL speech which literally welled up my eyes. Actually, I did
cry a little. #NoShameToAccept
In
the end, I will just conclude saying that Sachin was just not cricket to India.
He had bigger importance than many other people in our country. And literally,
I’m proud to say that I grew up in the era of Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar and was highly
lucky to see him play. Perhaps, the upcoming generation will never know how
much this man meant to the nation!
Plus,
Sachin Tendulkar is the youngest and only sportsperson to win Bharat Ratna
award. So you see, it is a brilliant start to his new innings. J

THE LIEBSTER AWARD
I was checking some of the blogs one day and found
this very enticing award being given to one of the fellow blogger. I was happy
for him. But since the word ‘award’ itself is enough to raise the curiosity in any
individual, so I happened to check on the details of the title which are as
follows:
‘The Liebster Award is given to up and
coming bloggers who have less than 200 followers. So, what is a Liebster? The meaning: Liebster is
German and means sweetest, kindest, nicest, dearest, beloved, lovely, kind,
pleasant, valued, cute, endearing, and welcome. Isn't
that sweet? Blogging is about building a community and it's a great way
to connect with other bloggers and help spread the word about newer
bloggers/blogs.’
When I finished reading the above para I thought, I’m
a perfect person to be ‘nominated’, yes, at least nominated for this award. But
having found no such good news till now, ‘dil pe lag gyi’ kasam se!
Anyway, I know am being a sadist and that after
putting this post on my blog, a few of the nominations will definitely pop-up
in order to cheer me! But hey, I don’t want anything as a charity. For me,
being worthy of something is far more important than getting a reward in
return. Trust me.
I know, there are A LOT OF PEOPLE who are far more deserving, so I’m not sad at all. It’s ok, it’s fine. As it is said ‘if you deserve something, it comes to you at the right time’. J
