THE LIEBSTER AWARD
I was checking some of the blogs one day and found
this very enticing award being given to one of the fellow blogger. I was happy
for him. But since the word ‘award’ itself is enough to raise the curiosity in any
individual, so I happened to check on the details of the title which are as
follows:
‘The Liebster Award is given to up and
coming bloggers who have less than 200 followers. So, what is a Liebster? The meaning: Liebster is
German and means sweetest, kindest, nicest, dearest, beloved, lovely, kind,
pleasant, valued, cute, endearing, and welcome. Isn't
that sweet? Blogging is about building a community and it's a great way
to connect with other bloggers and help spread the word about newer
bloggers/blogs.’
When I finished reading the above para I thought, I’m
a perfect person to be ‘nominated’, yes, at least nominated for this award. But
having found no such good news till now, ‘dil pe lag gyi’ kasam se!
Anyway, I know am being a sadist and that after
putting this post on my blog, a few of the nominations will definitely pop-up
in order to cheer me! But hey, I don’t want anything as a charity. For me,
being worthy of something is far more important than getting a reward in
return. Trust me.
I know, there are A LOT OF PEOPLE who are far more deserving, so I’m not sad at all. It’s ok, it’s fine. As it is said ‘if you deserve something, it comes to you at the right time’. J
Awards and Recognition are bound to come your way sooner or later..But What I feel important at the end of the Day is our Blog Readers are satisfied with us,we are able to entertain those who visit our Blog.. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I guess when our Readers and Fellow Bloggers are happy with our Post that brings much satisfaction though I agree "An Award" adds more to that satisfaction.. :D
Nways Good Luck Varun with Blogging,I don't have an award right now with me but I promise to be your reader always.. :D
I completely agree with you :) Readers must be satisfied!
DeleteAnd, thank you for that last line. The same goes for you as well :)
Keep visiting O:)
Awwww a leibster award is very different. And it is something that should not be seen in a negative light. Cheer up! One two millions will come by your way! I was just telling husband that blogging is such a long race, if one is expecting meteor showers in months they are in for a shock :D
ReplyDeleteAll the best you are doing well already, many more milestones will be achieved!
Richa
I absolutely agree with Richa here! Just keep blogging. All these awards and nominations are just perks. I'm sure you will be nominated for a couple of them in future :)
DeleteThank you for those encouraging words Richa :)
DeleteI certainly agree with you Bhavya :)
DeleteAnd, I wish to keep doing the good work O:)
Thank you.
Keep Visiting :)
The concept of leibster award stands out ! good for upcoming bloggers. :-)
ReplyDeleteYeah Paresh :)
DeleteYou have to be your own judge here. If you and your readers are satisfied with the way your blog is moving ahead, awards and nominations and all shouldn't matter that much. Getting one of corse would be a very nice feeling but absence of it shouldn't bother you much.
ReplyDeletePoint noted :)
DeleteThank you for the inspiring words.
Keep visiting :)
Awards will come your way soon. Keep writing! All the best!
ReplyDeleteI got my 1st one a month ago! :)
I believe- Work hard & some day you'll get the reward! :)

DeleteGood work is equal to a thousand awards.
