How I learned a necessary lesson of life?
There
have been a lot of talks about women empowerment lately all around. So, I am
here to share one such incident from my childhood that taught me a lesson for
life and is also connected to the same topic in one way or the other.
I
was 11, or perhaps 12 in age that time. I stayed in housing board colony back
in those days when that life-changing-humor-coated incident took place.
It
was a summer afternoon. And one of our neighbor’s daughter was at our place.
That time it was a jolly environment. Everyone can be found in everyone else’s
house as if they all were family members. Sadly, this thing has changed
drastically over a time now!
Anyway,
she was around 8 or less, I hardly remember except for the fact that she was
very young. And like every normal day, she made a visit to play around that day
as well.
So,
at that time I was having a bath when she entered and wandered around lifting
various things from the house just to end her curiosity. My mom enjoyed her
company and thus never complained or scolded her from doing anything at all.
After
a few minutes when I came out of the bathroom wrapping a towel, and only that,
for obvious reasons, I noticed her playing around with my favorite wind chime.
Wind
chimes were pretty popular at those days. You may end up getting 3-4 pieces as
your birthday gift if people wished to break a tradition of gifting lunch box
and crayons. But this one was especially picked by me on some random occasion
which is hard for me to recall. It looked fancy with a bit of greenish scenery
on the plates of it. Golden chains enhanced its look and style. The sound of it
was sober and felt good to ears. It was my favorite, no doubt. And above
everything, I hated if anybody would even touch it. I was a stubborn kid back
then especially for the things I loved. No sacrifice at all. No it, no but. It
was my rule.
So,
I could see that girl almost struggling to take that wind chain out of the
hook. I got a little angry for it was my nature. But then, there was a question
of humiliation if I went to stop her wrapping a towel and nothing else. I was a
shy kid; very shy. I wouldn’t even open my t-shirt for a doctor to examine me
in case of a checkup. That shy. After all, it was mah body, so mah rulezzz…!
Thus,
I stood at a distance for a while for her to stop doing that by God’s grace
because it was getting into my nerve. But only when I wished for it, she
dropped it by mistake and it shattered after landing on the floor. The chains
were miles apart from the case and the green fountain plate that held every
chain together was on her hand as if wishing to rejoin. Sadly, nothing
happened, the wind chain didn’t join again why would it? It was reality.
Another
reality was that I almost lost my temper on a jiffy. I rushed towards her and
so my mom after the havoc (in my terms) took place. I got first in the race and
as soon I reached the spot, I did not think for a fraction of a second and
slapped that little girl. I was furious and out of control.
My
mom, who came second in the race, saw everything. The little girl started
crying. And I immediately regretted my action. I was a kid back then but if I
ever saw a girl crying I would do anything to stop her from shedding tears. I
still do. And I believe everyone must do too. Not just for girls but for men
too. As men cry as well.
And
that day I could almost see myself crying too. Why? Because my mum was about to
hit me which was evident through her face and actions.
Her
right hand came like a sucker punch on my back and hit me twice. Her left palm
hit my cheeks. And then came the blow that blew everything off. She hit me
again and my towel dropped down. Oh my!
The
girl who was continuously crying all this long suddenly stopped. Why wouldn’t
she? Magic happened and I was exposed. I could see the world watching me naked
and making a mockery out of it, although there were only two people.
Imagining
this situation my eyes filled up. But I could not keep my palm on my face to
hide my tears because something even more important was out open. So, I made
the best use of my little hands and rushed towards the other room and closed
it.
I
cried for the next 10 mins or so. After
all, I was a victim of wardrobe malfunction. I wasn’t paid too for that act.
And, all this hurt a lot. So, I took notes of wearing underwear immediately
after having a bath so as to avoid mishaps that involved genitals or anything
of that importance.
However,
amidst all this drama and exposure, I learned a very important lesson that I still
carry with me. I learned not to hit a girl at all. Doesn’t matter what she has
done, but never hit her. Never let go of chivalry no matter what. Of course you
won’t get anything for it and maybe you would be hurt at the end. But then what
good it is to be a man if you can’t be like one?

Are we two faced or more?
I
was surfing Facebook and listening to Galliyan- Ankit Tiwari (all this doesn’t
matter) when this question crossed my mind; Are we two faced or three or more?
Sounds interesting, right? By the way, just so you know, I am not talking about
human anatomy at all. This is away, far away from science. This is life, where
you find two or three or any-number-of-your-choice faced people. I hope you get
the drift.

| Two-face from Batman |
So,
the story of a two faced person (not that villain from Batman) starts when he
backstabs somebody and that somebody in return does his nomenclature like this.
The reason for betrayal can be anything that depends upon the situation and we
won’t analyze it in this article. However, in reality, absence of guts to speak
or do things up front compels a person to become two faced or more.
However,
there is more to it. Till now, we saw other’s perspective of somebody being two
faced. Now, what if I tell you that we actually change our character according
to situations?! Shocking, right? But, this is true.
Do
this activity once and you will find the above notion to be true. Next time
when you meet your friends or anybody in general who is not your family member
just keep noticing (and remember) the way you talk and behave.
Now,
when you come back home and spend time with your family over dinner or lunch (or
any meal in between because other time you are busy on the internet) once again
notice your behavior. Am sure you will find a change in it from the way you played
yourself out to the world.
So,
this far you are already two different people. You are a born actor my friend.
Congratulations. Directors are looking for a chap like you. Go, catch them all.
Anyway,
the final step. And, this step once done will show you the real you. Trust me,
I don’t kid for free. All you need to do is find some solitude or a mask to
hide behind. Best way is to create an anonymous identity on the internet, just
for this activity. So, you are hidden due to it. Nobody can see you until you
reveal yourself or you don’t know how to be anonymous on the internet. If it is
the 2nd case, internet will help you. Best wishes!
So,
once anonymous, pick any random person of any gender or your choice. Remember,
this is a hard task to do because people don’t easily get in touch immediately
with a stranger. But, let us assume you are successful in doing this. Now,
start to chat with them. And, more importantly, read and remember what you say
to them. Because when you will recall it you will realize that it was all true.
You didn’t say anything to flaunt yourself or to play defensive in anyway
unlike the other two scenarios above. And you will be shocked to know, but this
is the real you. The person whom you behave like in the third case is you. The things
that you truly believe are revealed in the third case when you are behind a
mask. After all, it is rightly said, give a man a mask and he will show you who
he actually is.
![]() |
| Is this right? |
So,
finally, just count the number of characters you played in total. Am sure you
are smarter than a fifth grader and would be with an answer, three.
Congratulations. Or in Archimedes’ style, Eureka because we have found the
number of faces people have and it is three. So, next time if somebody says
that there are 7 billion people in this world and 14 billion faces; correct
them with 21 billion. Remember, each one has 3 faces, except for Harvey Dent,
who has 5!
Thank
you for visiting this blog. Have a great day!

Movies, TV series and songs!
This
is one moment for which I wait patiently. The moment I get to write something.
Bring out something, a story, a memoir, anything, not a verse though (just so
you know). And today I am happier than most of the recent times while penning
something on this blog. The reason can be anything. May be the last night
movie, The Imitation Game; recommended. Or even the successful completion of
The Vinci’s Demon’s season 2; another thing I would recommend. Or may be
anything else is doing the trick. But, does the reason matter? I believe, not,
because being happy is all we care about. Or, I care about.

| Overpriced popcorn and cold drink |
Anyway,
talking about a movie and a TV series brings me to this great song that I heard
on YouTube, ‘Kaun Mera’. It was
performed by ‘Papon’ at ‘MTV Unplugged Season 4’. You must have heard it, am
sure, perhaps, the original version from the movie ‘Special 26’.
So,
I heard the song and I came to realize that how desperately I want to attend a
live show of MTV Unplugged. It has always been my wish to do that. But, since
it stayed in my subconscious, so never got a lucid signal. However, I know this
now and want to go for it. May be, some day will get lucky.

| A poster of MTV Unplugged (I know, you know) |
Now,
since have initiated my talk in regards to movies, TV series and songs, so I
would like you to help me with it. Kindly post a list of your favorite songs,
movies, TV series below in the comments and I would try to go through all of
those, if not already done. Also, if you are aware about how one can attend a
live show of MTV Unplugged (wherever it happens), please do me a favor and
comment about the same. I would really appreciate your help.
Will
be awaiting your comments. J

A random post
Every
time I step in to put something on my not-at-all famous (stats reveal) blog I
carry a bag full of stories, events and lessons all for free. However, this bag
has only 1 section, so everything is kept inside the same, which eventually
ends up creating a crazy mixture of all those things that I wish to say. In
short, right now I have no idea where this post is heading. But, I am happy
that you are still reading it, patiently looking for something, carrying along,
bearing all of it. And trust me, this is the best thing.
It
is so good to see people be with you through your journey. Even if it is for a
short time, it feels good. You have somebody who can vouch for you, help you
and above everything, be with you. Being together is the most important part. And
that gives a feeling of satisfaction and bliss. (NOTE:
This has been written irrespective of the gender of the other person. This
shouldn’t be confused with a boy-girl relationship. Perspective is totally
neutral. Thank you!)
![]() |
| True, right? |
However,
we don’t realize this thing, this one important thing until we start on our
own. When we don’t have people from our daily life who have been a constant support
just by being there; when we just can’t be lazy enough to procrastinate our
work or put it on others (if possible); or I should say, when we have new faces
all around us, that is the moment when we start to miss all of the above
things. Being together, so as to put.
In
the end, I would say that be good with people, if not then don’t be bad at least,
because you would never know when you might need their support. And trust
me; ‘support’ is more than just a word. Live alone and you will understand.
Enough said.
So,
that’s all for free. You can subscribe to this blog of mine where I have been
posting some or the other thing till 2014. Haven’t been able to keep up the
same in 2015 so far, but hey, this is just February, right? So, subscribe
anyway and get amused, tickled and lectured at random times. I don’t make big
promises. Also, you can contact me through the contact form available on this
blog. I always reply to your messages because I hardly get any. Don’t laugh, I
actually don’t receive any message. But that being said, you can always make a
change. I love to see changes. And, until next time, good morning, good
afternoon and good night. Sayonara.

The story of my placement
I’m
not a big fan of boasting about my campus placement. But then, I’m not a saint
either, right? So, putting it in simple words that this blog’s owner has
finally bagged a company (2nd company by statistics) called XL
Dyanimics Inc.
For
wishes, praises and details, kindly leave a message in the comment box. I will
answer each one of them. Kasam se! :D
For
lazy people, option of putting a comment on Facebook, Google+ and Twitter is
also available.
Time
is running out. Hurry! :D

| Sounds about right! |
I’m
putting this thanksgiving at the end, but trust me, the importance of all these
people can’t be judged through it.
Starting
with my parents whose indispensable support throughout my life can’t be
expressed through words. But then it is always good to give a tribute, even though
a small one.
Secondly,
I’m thankful to all the teachers who have taught me till date, be it in school,
college etc. After all, it is not an easy task to control a kid like me.
Third
to this list are my friends (a dozen or more) who have inspired me to get my
lazy ass working through their constant nagging, motivation and tips, all
during the chai biscuit hangout. *Smoking is injurious to health; remember*
Last
on the thanksgiving, but had these people not been there the night before the interview
for this company, then probably, I wouldn’t have been posting this thing.
Thank
you Akrit sir, Paresh sir, Roopal ma’am and even a sir whose name is Varun too J
I
remember that motivational speech at 12.30am in the night from you Roopal ma’am.
And, trust me; it was as good as that dialogue from the movie Chak De India. ;)
Thank
you sir ji (Paresh) for helping me get through that phase and finally plan a
trip to the interview the next day. J *Chote placed
ho gya*
Akrit
sir, thank you for providing a lucid explanation regarding the job and for
Varun sir’s number as well!
Huff!
By now, you would either be swearing at me, smiling or yawning profusely. So,
taking all those possibilities in mind, I end this post right here.
Thank
you for visiting!
Kabhi
baaki ke post bhi padh liya karo bhai :D

How NOT to start conversations with girls?
Welcome!
So, as you are here, I can assume that you want to mingle with a girl and you
are single by choice. Her choice! (Ouch!)
![]() |
| Happens! |
Anyways,
today you will find some of the BEST ways NOT to start a conversation with any
girl whatsoever. And, I’m very sure you don’t like to engage in a conversation
with every girl (because of various reasons that are personal to you and are
unknown to me!), but that one “special angel”, who sadly, is either out of
scope (according to you) or already taken. But, fear not my friend; I’m here to rescue
you from this depressing situation.
I
certainly have no degree for match-making nor have any bad experiences on this
line. Reason being, I didn’t go that silly or lame in my approach, till date.
However, this must be kept in mind; the result has ALWAYS been the same, i.e.
REJECTED. (That feels!) BUT, BUT, BUT, I will help you, though for free!
So,
without testing your patience, here are some of the ways in which you should
NEVER start a conversation with a girl as that would lead you back to this post
(you got the answer, I suppose):
1. NEVER
ask her ASL:
Alright! You have been in solitude till date, I
get that. Also, all your past experiences of those nerve-racking nights on
Omegle of wanting to talk to someone, craves to come out and hug you tight,
BUT, trust me, asking her ASL (AGE, SEX, LOCATION) would never work.
![]() |
| This! |
Com’on, who questions a girl of her age, nearly NO
one, right? Then, how prudent does it seem to throw this as your 1st
question to her? This will strike back so tight that either she might not understand the short form (hardly happens), or she might instantly be disinterested
in you. I hope you get that?! Good. Take notes then.
2. NEVER
say this:
![]() |
| This is too lame! |
Woho! Ok, big brother. Your very line showed your
desperation reaching Pluto. Calm down. Take it easy. Don’t let that desperation
of wanting to be friends with a girl (the ONLY girl) come out and present
itself like chocolate pie. She wouldn’t like it because it isn’t chocolate pie,
as it seems to you.
You need to understand that in life you have to
earn girl friends (that space is the friend zone) which DON’T come at all if
you chant this mantra “I want to fraaanship with you”, as your introductory
phrase! This doesn’t work on guys either; so I hope you get my point. Change the
first line. May be, a mere ‘Hi’ would work well.
3. NEVER
compliment her:
![]() |
| Do not compliment like this! |
Now, the sub-title might sound absurd but that’s
right, absolutely right if you are talking to a girl for the very first time. Never
compliment her straight way (this way in particular). You are not Brad Pitt as
she would get impressed. If you were, you wouldn’t have needed that line. I hope
you get the drift. So, take notes and never pass on such kind of compliments
all the way through. Good luck.
4. NEVER
discuss such things too:
Now, you might have an Uday Chopra of Dhoom series
inside, but that’s got to stay inside. Just like Intel (bad joke).
![]() |
| This is creepy! |
What is happening here is that you got a crush on
that girl (LIKE ALWAYS, MAYBE) and your speed of pondering on stuffs like this
is faster than the speed of light. Because of which, by the time you blink your
eyes, you are already a father of her children (officially). So, out of bliss
you ask questions related to caste, boyfriend (if any) and more such obnoxious
questions, all at the very first conversation. Hold on to that (Thehro!)
Go slowly man. Take time to understand her, which by
itself is a VERY complex process (you will understand this later). Then, if
things work out and you have nothing better to ask; you have my permission to
put forth this query of yours! Till then, wait!
![]() |
| Casual flirting is fine, but not at the start! |
In the end, I hope you must have taken proper notes
and would totally comply by it. I believe things will roll nicely. Happy
talking!

A strange encounter inside a bank
In
an era of internet banking, one still has to visit a bank for various things,
like, depositing the money, because that’s not gonna fly-by from your home and
get inside the internet, all by itself. Another one is, updating your passbook.
And, many might question its significance, to which I would say that if you
stay at home, you got to do what is being asked. ‘No questions, just pure work’,
this is the rule and kids are entitled to follow.
I
have to follow every single rule, else no Wi-Fi, and no food for a specific
time. Food I can work out, but Wi-Fi, absolutely not. In fact, Wi-Fi is in
parity with water. So, how can I relinquish such a “precious” thing?! No chance
of it.
![]() |
| Trust this fact! |
Anyways,
one day I had to visit a bank for some work. I have mostly visited a government
bank because my parents have their account in there. But, this 1 day brought
about a new experience for me. And, it was so weird and pathetic to be frank
that I had to lose huge amount of money on it. Mind it, huge sum. No kidding.
So,
I went inside the bank, filled the deposit slip like always. Meanwhile, 5-10
people already interrupted me and booked their ownership on the pen after I was
done, like always. And, to all those requests, I silently nodded, in spite of
having a different notion inside, LIKE ALWAYS. Life inside a bank never
changes, trust me!
Now,
you may call me selfish or egoist, but lose your pen in the same bank to
different people for consecutive weeks and I guarantee that you will understand
my “selfishness”.
Anyways,
even if you don’t help people with a pen, but you just can’t stop to notice
their confidence while they enter a bank and ask for the same. It seems like,
they pre-plan everything. And maybe, they have this dream of establishing a pen
shop somewhere down the line. I mean, look at that smiling innocent face that
hasn’t seen or used a pen since birth, but has heard that it is found with
anyone except them in a bank.
“Bhaiya, pen milega zara?” (kasam se wapas nhi
karunga)
“Han ji, ye lijiye” (meri to pen ki dukaan he
na…le jao!)
Huff..!
Anyway, so, one guy that looked like a student got hold of my pen after I was
done scribbling down the requisites. He gave a broad smile, nodded in appreciation
and went on to complete his task. And, in response, I gave a fake smile which
he didn’t care to notice because he got what he wanted!
Thereafter,
I stood in the line, a few steps away from him, waiting for my turn in the
counter. The time went on and he seemed to be writing a novel or something.
That thing agitated me a little and I could only roll my eyes hoping for a
miracle. Nothing happened though!
After
a few more mins, when the hope was almost on its way for cremation, he did
something that cost me a few bucks; 10 precisely. And that my friend is a huge
sum of money for a student. Seriously!
He
brought my pen close to his mouth and started chewing it. Who the hell chews a
borrowed pen? That guy was first of his kind. Seriously!
“What
did you do Mr. Sucker? That’s not a chewing gum and we aren’t couples either!
So, keep the pen with you and pay me for it with money, right now”, I wanted to
say, but guess what? Yeah, you are right, I couldn’t.
I
simply closed my eyes, bent my head down a little and scratched my forehead; just
like a person who is hopelessly annoyed does. And then I made up my mind to
gift that pen to him, just like that.
By
the way, I did feel bad for that guy too because I scratched my butt with that
pen the other day. Innocent fella didn’t know how nature was playing with him.
But, to my surprise, he seemed to be enjoying the taste of it. Strange world!
![]() |
| Destiny, you may call it! |
Meanwhile,
I reached to the 1st spot in the queue and it was my turn. The work
got done in a minute and I immediately left the bank with a heavy heart, abandoning
the guy in his misery who was still busy tasting we-know-what.
And,
by the way that accounted for my 10th pen that got either robbed or misused
because I chose to be a stationary shop guy inside a bank! Take lesson from
this incident and never chew a borrowed pen, ever again!
